Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does: These regulations are housekeeping for the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). They tidy up old legal instruments that are no longer needed.

Key changes:

Repeals two old rule sets: Scraps the 1995 and 2003 regulations that previously governed aspects of the School’s operations.
Removes an outdated note: Updates the 1986 Regulations by deleting a note that referred to the old Federal Register of Legislative Instruments website (a system that has since been replaced).

Who it affects: Primarily affects the AFTRS administration and anyone researching the School’s legislative history. For students and staff, this is a behind-the-scenes cleanup with no direct impact on day-to-day operations.
