#### 40TN Head of unit constituted under section 40RD generally allocates issues for investigation (1) Subject to subsection (3) and section 40TO, the head of the unit constituted under section 40RD must allocate the issue to one or more law enforcement officers (within the meaning of the Crimes Act 1914) for investigation. (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the head of the unit may allocate the issue to himself or herself. (3) The head of the unit may allocate the issue to a person who is not a member of the unit only with the Commissioner’s agreement.
