#### 24 Condition of financial assistance—recovering amounts A payment of financial assistance under this Act to a State or Territory is subject to the condition that the State or Territory comply with any requirements prescribed by the regulations in relation to recovering amounts, as a result of a determination made under paragraph 110(1)(a) or (b) in relation to a State or Territory, from: (a) the State or Territory; or (b) an approved authority, a capital grants authority, a block grant authority or a non‑government representative body. > Note: Before regulations are made for the purposes of this section, the Minister must consult, and have regard to any relevant decisions of, the Ministerial Council (see subsection 130(5)).
