64 Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission Bill 2026 No. , 2026
is entitled to be paid by the Commonwealth the allowance for the1
expense, if any, that is determined by the Director-General.2
56 Offence—failing to comply with notice to produce3
(a) the person is served with a notice to produce; and5
(b) the person fails to comply with:6
(i) a requirement of the notice; or7
(ii) a direction included in the notice in accordance with8
section 51.9
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both.10
No continuing offence or contraventions11
(2) Section 4K (continuing offences) of the Crimes Act 1914 does not12
apply in relation to an offence against subsection (1).13
