(h) the total number of criminal intelligence assessments made1
during the reporting period;2
(i) the total number of requests for a CIO authority made during3
the reporting period;4
(j) the total number of CIO authorities granted during the5
reporting period;6
(k) the total number of premises search warrants issued during7
the reporting period;8
(l) the total number of person search warrants issued during the9
reporting period;10
(m) the total number of assistance orders made during the11
reporting period;12
(n) the total number of nationally coordinated criminal history13
check services provided in accordance with paragraph 24(e)14
during the reporting period;15
(o) any other matters prescribed by the rules for the purposes of16
this paragraph.17
Report not to identify particular persons18
(2) In preparing the report, the Director-General must take reasonable19
care not to identify a particular person, if doing so would prejudice:20
(a) the safety of a person; or21
(b) the fair trial of a person.22
Copy of report to be given to Leader of the Opposition23
(3) A copy of the report must be given to the Leader of the Opposition24
in the House of Representatives, but it is the duty of the Leader of25
the Opposition to treat as secret any part of the report that is not26
tabled in a House of the Parliament.27
Deletions from report on privacy etc. grounds28
(4) The Minister may make such deletions from the report as the29
Minister, after obtaining advice from the Director-General,30
considers necessary in order to avoid prejudice to:31
(a) the performance of functions, or the exercise of powers, by32
any of the following:33

(i) the ACIC;1
(ii) a law enforcement agency;2
(iii) an intelligence or security agency; or3
(b) the privacy of individuals; or4
(c) the conduct of the Commonwealth’s international affairs.5
