(c) if the examiner is appointed on a full-time basis—the1
examiner is absent, except on leave of absence, for 142
consecutive days or for 28 days in any 12 months; or3
(d) if the examiner is appointed on a full-time basis—the4
examiner engages, except with the Minister’s approval, in5
paid work outside the duties of the examiner’s office (see6
subsection 254(1)); or7
(e) if the examiner is appointed on a part-time basis—the8
examiner engages in paid work that, in the9
Director-General’s opinion, conflicts or could conflict with10
the proper performance of the examiner’s duties (see11
subsection 254(2)).12
