259 ACIC employees2
(1) The staff of the ACIC must be persons engaged under the Public3
Service Act 1999.4
Note: A person referred to in this subsection is an ACIC employee (see5
section 7).6
(2) For the purposes of the Public Service Act 1999:7
(a) the Director-General and the staff of the ACIC together8
constitute a Statutory Agency; and9
(b) the Director-General is the Head of that Statutory Agency.10
260 Consultants11
(1) The Director-General may, on behalf of the Commonwealth,12
engage as consultants persons having suitable qualifications and13
experience to assist in the performance of the ACIC’s functions.14
(2) The engagement of a consultant must be by written agreement.15
(3) The terms and conditions of engagement are those that the16
Director-General determines in writing.17
