234 Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission Bill 2026 No. , 2026
(b) in relation to information or a record that has already been1
communicated to the public with the authority of the2
Commonwealth; or3
(c) in accordance with a contract, agreement or arrangement with4
the ACIC; or5
(d) in accordance with the approval of the Director-General or an6
ACIC staff member having the authority of the7
Director-General to give such an approval; or8
(e) by an IGIS official in connection with the IGIS official9
exercising powers, or performing functions or duties, as an10
IGIS official; or11
(f) made to, or relates to information communicated to, an IGIS12
official for the purpose of the IGIS official exercising a13
power, or performing a function or duty, as an IGIS official;14
or15
(g) made as a NACC disclosure, or relates to the making of a16
NACC disclosure, within the meaning of the National17
Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022; or18
(h) by a staff member of the NACC (within the meaning of the19
National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022) in20
connection with the staff member exercising powers, or21
performing functions or duties, as a staff member of the22
NACC; or23
(i) by the Inspector of the National Anti-Corruption24
Commission in connection with the Inspector exercising25
powers, or performing functions or duties, as the Inspector of26
the National Anti-Corruption Commission; or27
(j) made to, or relates to information communicated to, a28
member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on29
Intelligence and Security for the purpose of the member30
exercising a power, or performing a function or duty, as a31
member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on32
Intelligence and Security.33
