19 When a confiscation proceeding is a relevant confiscation11

A confiscation proceeding is a relevant confiscation proceeding if:13
(a) in the case of compelled material, derivative material or a14
witness—the subject matter of the notice to produce or15
examination, as relevant, relates to the subject matter of the16
proceeding; or17
(b) in the case of a summons—the subject matter of the18
summons relates to the subject matter of the proceeding; or19
(c) in the case of a determination made under subsection 66(1)—20
the subject matter of the authorisation mentioned in that21
subsection relates to the subject matter of the proceeding.22
Note: The subject matter of an examination may expand during the23
examination if the purposes of the examination are expanded by a24
determination made under subsection 66(1).25
20 Meaning of proceeds of crime authority26
Each of the following is a proceeds of crime authority:27
(a) a proceeds of crime authority within the meaning of the28
Proceeds of Crime Act 2002;29
(b) an authority of a State or Territory responsible for conducting30
a confiscation proceeding under a corresponding law (within31
the meaning of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002).32
