162 Things authorised by a person search warrant7
General8
(1) A person search warrant authorises the following:9
(a) searching any of the following for documents or things of a10
kind specified in the warrant:11
(i) the person specified in the warrant;12
(ii) things found in the possession of the person;13
(iii) any conveyance that the person had operated or14
occupied at any time within 24 hours before the warrant15
is executed;16
(b) seizing documents or things specified in the warrant that are17
found in the course of the search;18
(c) in relation to other documents or things found in the course19
of the search, doing one or more of the following:20
(i) inspecting or otherwise examining the document or21
thing for the purpose of determining whether the22
document or thing is relevant to the serious and23
organised crime matter referred to in paragraph24
161(1)(c) to which the warrant relates;25
(ii) moving the document or thing to another place for such26
inspection or examination in accordance with section27
163;28
(d) in relation to a document or thing referred to in paragraph (c)29
that the person executing the search believes on reasonable30
grounds to be relevant to the ACIC obtaining intelligence31
relevant to serious and organised crime—doing one or more32
of the following:33
(i) copying, transcribing, photographing or otherwise34
making a record of the document or thing;35
