94 Permission to act as an introduction agent (1) The Authority may give its permission if it is satisfied that it is not contrary to the public interest for it to do so. (2) Without limiting its discretion to do so, the Authority may refuse to give its permission if the applicant— (a) refuses to provide any further information required by the Authority under subsection (3)(b); or (b) fails to provide any further information required by the Authority under subsection (3)(b) within a reasonable time after the requirement is made. (3) In determining whether to give its permission, the Authority— (a) is not required to conduct a hearing; and (b) may require the applicant to provide such further information as the Authority considers necessary in the manner required by the Authority; and (c) may seek advice and information on the application from any other person or body as the Authority thinks fit. (4) The Authority may revoke a permission granted under this section by notice in writing issued to the person in respect of whom the permission was granted if the Authority is satisfied that it is in the public interest for it to do so. (5) The Authority must not revoke a permission without giving the person an opportunity to be heard.
