148 Publisher required to produce information (1) For the purpose of monitoring compliance with this Act or the regulations, the Director or an inspector may in writing require a publisher to produce specified information which— (a) is required by this Act or the regulations to be kept by the publisher; or (b) has been published by the publisher. (2) A publisher must produce information in the form in which it is retained by the publisher. (3) A requirement of an inspector under subsection (1) must be made with the written approval of the Director. ***publisher*** means a person who publishes a publication intended for sale or public distribution (whether to the public generally or to a restricted class or number of persons) or for public display (including in an electronic form).
