106G Offence to sell fuel above the maximum fuel price (1) A confirmed fuel retailer must not offer a type of fuel for sale to retail customers at a price that is higher than the maximum fuel price that applies to the retailer at the time of the offer. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), a maximum fuel price applies to a confirmed fuel retailer for a 24-hour period beginning— (a) at the prescribed time; or (b) if no time is prescribed, at 6 a.m. on the day on which the maximum fuel price applies.
