2Repeal and saving

2 Repeal and saving (1) The Citizenship Regulations (comprising the Statutory Rules specified in Schedule 1) are repealed. (2) Every certificate issued and appointment, application, claim or declaration made under the Regulations repealed by subregulation (1), or under the Regulations repealed by those first-mentioned Regulations, and in force or subsisting immediately before the commencement of these regulations shall be deemed to have been issued or made, as the case may be, under these Regulations.
