#### 33 Citizenship by incorporation of territory (1) If any territory becomes a part of Australia, the Governor‑General may, by order published in the Gazette, declare that the persons included in such classes of persons as are specified in the order shall, as from such date as is so specified, become Australian citizens by reason of their connexion with that territory. (2) A person included in any such class shall, as from the date so specified, become an Australian citizen.
