18 Function of Council
(1) The function of the Council is to provide advice to the Minister regarding: (a) agricultural problems of developing countries; and (b) programs and policies with respect to agricultural research for either or both of the following purposes: (i) identifying agricultural problems of developing countries; (ii) finding solutions to agricultural problems of developing countries. (2) The Council shall provide advice under subsection (1) on such occasions as it thinks fit and on request by the Minister. (3) The Minister shall arrange for a copy of any advice provided by the Council to be furnished to the Commission.
