#### 99 Regulations The Governor‑General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all matters required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act and, in particular: (a) providing for the payment of fees and expenses to witnesses required under this Act to attend and give evidence before the Commissioner or another person; (b) prescribing the fees or other payments to be charged in respect of registration, proceedings under this Act or otherwise for the purposes of this Act, and prescribing the manner in which those fees or payments shall be paid; (c) providing for the inspection of a register kept under this Act; and (d) prescribing penalties, not exceeding a fine of $500, for offences against the regulations.
