61 Steps before giving termination notice

(1) The Minister must not terminate a licence under subsection 60(1) unless: (a) the notice required by subsection (2) has been given; and (b) the Minister has considered the reasons (if any) submitted by the licensee in accordance with paragraph (2)(c). (2) The Minister must give a notice in writing to the licensee: (a) specifying the contraventions of the licence in respect of which the notice is given; and (b) stating that the Minister is considering terminating the licence; and (c) inviting the licensee to submit to the Minister written reasons, within the period ending not later than 15 business days after the licensee is given the notice, why the licensee considers that the licence should not be terminated.
