55 Rights of permit holder
(1) A permit may authorise the permit holder to close the permitted place to the public, or a section of the public, so as to conduct the regulated activity authorised by the permit. (2) If a permit authorises the placement of an object on public National Land, the permit holder may restrict the public use of the object if: (a) the permit holder reasonably believes that the restriction is necessary to ensure its use in accordance with the permit; and (b) the restriction does not contravene the permit, or a condition of the permit; and (c) the restriction does not contravene a law in force in the Territory. (3) Nothing in subsection (1) or (2) prevents a place that is a public place for the purposes of a law in force in the Territory from continuing to be a public place for the purposes of that law.
