48 Request for further information
(1) The Minister may, by written notice given to a person applying for a permit, request the person to give the Minister further information in relation to the application, within the period specified in the notice. (2) A period specified under subsection (1) must be reasonable, having regard to the circumstances. (3) The Minister may refuse to consider, or further consider, the application until the information is provided. (4) The application is taken to be withdrawn if the information is not provided within the specified period, or any longer period agreed to in writing by the Minister.
