32 Renewing lessee not liable to pay for improvements
(1) This section applies if: (a) the term of a lease expires; and (b) there are improvements on the land comprised in the lease; and (c) the lessee is granted a further lease of the land or part of it. (2) Subject to any contrary provision in the lease, the lessee is not liable to pay to the Commonwealth the value of the improvements on the land or part of the land covered by the further lease.
