21 When determination ceases to be in effect

(1) A determination granting a person’s application for Australian apprenticeship support loan continues in effect until the earliest of: (a) the end of the day immediately before the day a determination under section 19 takes effect cancelling Australian apprenticeship support loan that is being paid to the person; or (b) the end of the period specified in the determination for the purposes of subsection 16(2) (expiry); or (c) the end of the day immediately before the day on which the person dies. (2) A determination of a person’s rate of Australian apprenticeship support loan continues in effect until the end of the day immediately before the day a determination under section 18 takes effect varying the person’s rate of Australian apprenticeship support loan.
