Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation repeals (cancels) the 1975 rules that set out how much members of the Australian Apple and Pear Corporation could be paid and what expense allowances they could claim.

What it does

Removes the Australian Apple and Pear Corporation (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations 1975 entirely.
This eliminates the specific legal framework that governed payments to Corporation members.

Who it affects

Members (directors) of the Australian Apple and Pear Corporation who previously claimed fees or allowances under the repealed rules.

Why it matters

It likely signals a restructuring of how members are compensated—either moving to a different payment system, consolidating with other statutory bodies, or reflecting changes to the Corporation itself. Once repealed, those specific 1975 payment rules no longer apply.
