31 Transitional provision—applications for background checks

(1) This section applies in relation to an application for a background check of an individual if: (a) the application was made, or was taken to have been made, before the repeal of the old regulations; and (b) immediately before that repeal, the application has not been finally dealt with in accordance with the old regulations. (2) On and after 1 August 2017, the application is taken to have been made, and may be dealt with, in accordance with this instrument.
