Amendments to ASQM 2

1. Existing paragraph A3 is amended to read as follows:

The firm may assign more than one individual to be responsible for appointing engagement quality reviewers. For example, the firm’s policies or procedures may specify a different process for appointing engagement quality reviewers for audits of listedpublicly traded entities than for audits of non-listed entities other than publicly traded entities or other engagements, with different individuals responsible for each process.

The nature and extent of the engagement quality reviewer’s procedures for a specific engagement may depend on, among other factors:

 …

 The nature and size of the entity, including whether the entity is a listedpublicly traded entity.
