#### 16 Certificates of authority 16 Certificates of authority > For the Act, section 88(1)(a), a certificate of authority must— > > > (a) be in a form approved by the Secretary, and > > > (b) state that the certificate is issued under the Act, and > > > (c) include the name of the person to whom the certificate is issued, and > > > (d) describe the nature of the powers conferred on the holder and state that those powers are conferred by the Act, and > > > (e) state that the powers conferred on the holder do not extend to a part of premises used for residential purposes, except with the consent of the occupier of the premises, and > > > (f) state the date, if any, on which the certificate expires, and > > > (g) be signed by the Secretary or another officer of the Department authorised by the Secretary to sign certificates of authority.
