38 Execution of contract or other document by signature (1) An incorporated association may, subject to any greater restriction provided in its rules, execute a contract or other document if the contract or document is signed by— (a) 2 members of the committee; or (b) if the secretary of the association is not a member of the committee—by a member of the committee and the secretary. (2) To avoid doubt, subsection (1) applies whether or not the association has a common seal.
