202 Requirement to produce and lodge documents (1) The Registrar may, in writing, require a person to produce and lodge the original of any document an incorporated association is required to keep under this Act. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to— (a) the register of members of the association; or (b) any document— (i) created by a person using software approved by the Director of Consumer Affairs Victoria and lodged on an internet site operated by the State; and (ii) forwarded by electronic transmission to the Registrar. (3) A person must comply with a requirement of the Registrar under subsection (1)— (a) within 28 days after the person receives the request from the Registrar; or (b) if the Registrar has specified a longer time for compliance—within the specified time.
