137 Consideration of application by Registrar (1) The Registrar must not accept an application under section 136 by a member or former member of an incorporated association unless the Registrar is satisfied that the association is not in operation. (2) The Registrar may make any inquiries necessary to establish the validity of any information provided in a declaration under section 136(4). (3) The Registrar may require the applicant to provide further information or copies of documents to enable the Registrar to determine the application. (4) The Registrar may make any further inquiries necessary to establish that a special resolution approving the application for cancellation was validly passed.
