51 Liability of officers and members An officer or a member of an incorporated association is not, except as otherwise provided by this Act or the rules of the association, taken, only because of being a member or officer, to be liable to contribute to the payment of any debts or other liabilities incurred by the association, or to the costs, charges or expenses incurred in the course of winding up the association.
