17 Powers of authorised person (1) An authorised person may— (a) lodge an application with the registrar-general for the incorporation of an association or proposed association; and (b) do anything necessary to secure the incorporation of the association or proposed association.
(2) Subsection (1) (b) applies in relation to an authorised person despite any provision to the contrary in the rules adopted by the association or proposed association under section 16 (c).
