13A Contact details may be kept confidential
(1) This section applies to a document that is or has been lodged with the
registrar-general under this Act.
(2) A person whose contact details are contained in the document may
ask the registrar-general, in writing, to keep the person’s contact
details confidential.
(3) If a person makes a request under subsection (2), the registrar-general
must ensure that any document the subject of the request is made
available for a request under section 11 only in a way that does not
show the person’s contact details.
(4) However, a person who is the public officer of an incorporated
association must have at least 1 address available for service of
documents.
Note A public officer’s address may be a residential, business or PO box
address.
(5) In this section:
contact details, for a person, include the person’s address, email and
telephone number.
