121 Registered office of incorporated association
(1) An incorporated association may have a registered office in the ACT
to which communications and notices may be addressed and that must
be open for the hours (not being less than 3) between the hours of
9 am and 5 pm of each day that is not a Saturday, a Sunday or a public
holiday that are stated by the association—
(a) in an application for incorporation under section 18 (1) (a)
or 26 (2) (a); or
(b) in a notice given under subsection (2) or, if the association gives
a notice under subsection (3), in that notice.
(2) If an incorporated association opens a registered office subsequent to
incorporation under this Act, it must, within 7 days of opening that
office, inform the registrar-general by notice in writing of—
(a) the address of the registered office of the association; and
(b) the hours during which the office is required to be open under
subsection (1).
(3) An incorporated association having a registered office must, within
7 days of a change in the situation of that office or a change in the
hours of opening of the office, inform the registrar-general by notice
in writing of the relevant change.
(4) This section does not apply to an ACNC registered entity.
