12 Disposal of documents The registrar-general may dispose of— (a) any document lodged with the registrar-general in relation to an incorporated association that, at least 7 years previously, was dissolved or ceased to be registered or the incorporation of which was cancelled; or (b) any document of which a reproduction or transparency has been incorporated in a register under section 9; if, in the opinion of the registrar-general, it is no longer necessary or desirable to keep the document.
