123 Certificates of incorporation, officers etc. (1) If a certificate of incorporation for an association or trading association under the repealed Act was in force immediately before the commencement of this Act: (a) the certificate is taken to be a certificate of incorporation of the association under this Act; and (b) if the association was an incorporated trading association under the repealed Act – the association is taken to be an incorporated trading association under this Act. (2) A reference in this Act to an incorporated association's constitution includes a reference to the rules of an association that is taken to be an incorporated association under this Act. (3) The public officer of an incorporated association holding office immediately before the commencement of this Act is the public officer of the association under this Act.
