117 Destruction or falsification of records (1) A person commits an offence if— (a) the person knowingly falsifies or destroys a record; and (b) the record is a pre-commencement record or another record required to be kept under this Act. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to the destruction of a record if— (a) the destruction is authorised by the director-general; or (b) the record is a hard copy version that has been converted to electronic format. pre-commencement record—see section 71.
