Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a short administrative instrument that simply cancels (revokes) two older ASIC rules known as Class Orders [CO 00/345] and [CO 01/1545]. Think of it as legal housekeeping — ASIC is removing outdated or redundant rules from the books.

What it does:

Removes legal effect of the two specified class orders as of the registration date.
Creates no new rules or obligations for businesses or individuals.

Who it affects: Anyone who was relying on the exemptions or declarations in the revoked class orders. Those protections or requirements no longer apply once this instrument takes effect.

Why it matters: It cleans up the regulatory framework. If you were operating under the old rules mentioned above, you need to check whether you still have legal cover or if you now need to comply with the standard Corporations Act requirements.
