## 27 Transfer of certain Commonwealth records to care of Archives > Note: In certain circumstances a Commonwealth institution or Minister can exempt a record from this section (see section 29). (2) The person responsible for the custody of the record must cause the record to be transferred to the care of the Archives in accordance with arrangements approved by the Archives. (a) if the record ceases to be a current Commonwealth record—as soon as practicable after the record ceases to be a current Commonwealth record; and
