2025 A Bill for An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the consolidated fund for particular departments for the financial year starting 1 July 2024

[s 1] Appropriation (Supplementary 2024–2025) Bill 2025 Page 4 Authorised by the Parliamentary Counsel The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Supplementary 2024–2025) Act 2025. Note— Under the Financial Accountability Act 2009, section 5, words used in this Act that are defined under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act. 2 Supplementary appropriation for 2024–2025 based on unforeseen expenditure included in the consolidated fund financial report (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $5,740,982,000 from the consolidated fund for departments as stated in schedule 1 for the financial year starting 1 July 2024.
