Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Act authorises the Commonwealth to issue and appropriate $165,851,000 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the departmental programs and payments listed in Schedule 2, and treats that money as having been appropriated from 1 July 1993. It prescribes that specified Ministers (and the Treasurer for certain items) determine the written terms, conditions, amounts and timing for payments to States and other recipients, so taxpayers fund the programs while ministers control allocation and timing.
