Tasmania act
This Act authorises the Treasurer to issue $53,235,000 from the Public Account for government services in the 2024–25 financial year (s 4). The money must be applied to the purposes listed in Schedule 1 and the agency estimates (s 5). The Act commenced 1 July 2024 and expires 30 June 2026 (ss 2, 6). The Treasurer’s issuance power creates administrative discretion; agencies receive funding according to the schedules, with the Public Account as the funding source.
