Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This Act authorises the Australian Government to withdraw an additional £20 million from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for defence and war-related costs for the 1945–46 financial year. It backdates authority to 1 July 1945 so spending already incurred or committed that year is legally covered, with the precise allocation to be set by supplementary appropriation.
