80 Failure to attend conciliation (1) If, without reasonable excuse, a party to a complaint does not comply with a direction given under section 79, the Commissioner may, where the party is: (a) the complainant, dismiss the complaint and may direct the complainant to pay to the respondent such costs as the Commissioner thinks fit; or (b) the respondent, direct the respondent to pay to the complainant such costs as the Commissioner thinks fit. (2) An amount ordered to be paid as costs under this section may be registered as a judgment debt in a court of competent jurisdiction and may be recovered accordingly.
