72 Lapse of complaint if complainant loses interest (1) If the Commissioner is satisfied that a complainant has lost interest in continuing with a complaint, the Commissioner shall advise the complainant in writing that the complaint will lapse unless the complainant indicates that the complainant wishes to continue with it. (2) If a complainant, on being advised under subsection (1), does not give an indication within 60 days that the complainant wishes to continue with the complaint, the complaint lapses and the Commissioner shall, as soon as practicable thereafter, notify the complainant and the respondent that the complaint has lapsed. (3) Where a complaint lapses under this section, the complainant shall not make another complaint in relation to the same conduct.
