53 Acts done in compliance with legislation, etc. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act, a person may do an act that is necessary to comply with, or is specifically authorised by: (a) an Act or regulation of the Territory; or (b) an Act or regulation of the Commonwealth; or (c) an order of a court or tribunal; or (d) an order or award of a court or tribunal having power to fix minimum wages and other terms and conditions of employment; or (e) an industrial agreement in existence at the commencement of this Act; or (f) an order of the Commissioner under this Act; or (g) a guideline or code of practice prepared and published by the Commissioner under this Act; or (h) advice given by the Commissioner under this Act.
