23 Prohibition of victimisation (1) A person shall not victimise another person because the other person: (a) has made, or intends to make, a complaint; or (b) has given, or intends to give, evidence or information in connection with proceedings under this Act or (c) has alleged, or intends to allege, that a person has committed an act which would amount to a contravention of this Act; or (d) has done anything in relation to a person under or by reference to this Act. (2) Victimisation takes place if a person subjects or threatens to subject another person or an associate of the other person to any detriment. (3) Subsection (1)(c) does not apply to or in relation to an allegation that is false and not made in good faith.
