#### 68 Defence of relying on information supplied by another person Scope (1) This section applies to section 175 proceedings for a contravention of a civil penalty provision of Division 2. Defence (2) In the proceedings, it is a defence if the defendant proves that: (a) the contravention in respect of which the proceedings were instituted was due to reasonable reliance on information given by another person; and (b) the other person did not give the information in the other person’s capacity as an officer, employee or agent of the person who relied on the information.
