3 Interpretation
In these regulations –
calf means an animal of the genus Bos less than 6 months of age;
cattle means animals of the genus Bos;
cow means a female animal of the genus Bos;
humane killing – see regulation 24 ;
yarding means the process of putting cattle into an enclosure.
