48 Immunity from action

Any action or proceeding does not lie against –

(a) a person acting in good faith –

(i) [Section 48 Amended by No. 26 of 2008, s. 25, Applied:29 Jul 2008] who is exercising or who reasonably believes is exercising a power or performing a function conferred or imposed on that person by this Act; or

(ii) in accordance with any instructions of an officer or inspector; or

(b) a society, or a member or officer of a society, in respect of anything done in accordance with paragraph (a) .
