77 Authorised officers (1) The director-general may appoint a public servant who is a veterinary practitioner as an authorised officer. nominating the occupant of a position (see Legislation Act, s 207) (2) The authority is also an authorised officer if the authority is— (a) accompanied by a veterinary practitioner; or (b) following the written advice of a veterinary practitioner.
